The value of forensic science in the solving of all types of crime is immense. Terrorism, murder, burglary, sexual assault, GBH (grievous bodily harm), car and petty theft have all been prosecuted on the basis of forensic evidence found at the scene, on victims and/or on defendants. It goes without saying that forensic science makes an enormous contribution to the safety of our community and our country.
