As Wiley-Blackwell is a global publisher of many key journals and books aimed at the Forensic Science community, the Forensic Science Society have developed a collaborative partnership with them in order to develop key resources within the discipline.

NEW BOOK SERIES

The Forensic Science Society and Wiley-Blackwell Publishing have developed two very relevant and exciting book series as outlined below. The aim of these series is to provide the highest quality content to practitioners, researchers and students in the field. Therefore, the books in these series will cover the entire spectrum of subjects within forensic science, from forensic anthropology through to crime scene management.

Developments in Forensic Science

The first of these book series is entitled “Developments in Forensic Science” and this series reports on cutting edge developments in forensic science and is aimed at experienced practitioners.

The first book in this series is entitled Handbook of Firearms and Ballistics and this was authored by Brian Heard.

Stable Isotope Book Cover

The second book in this series is entitled Stable Isotope Forensics: An Introduction to the Forensic Application of Stable Isotope Analysis and this was authored by Dr Wolfram Meier-Augenstein.

The second book series “Essentials of Forensic Science” is a series of monographs aimed at new and less experienced practitioners as well as police, legal professionals and students.
